Decide your way to Success

December 23, 2010 by Natasha

The last few months have been exciting and hectic to say the least.  I planned my wedding in just under 5 months, managed to get pregnant just before the big day and I’ve been organising my impending return to UK.  There’s nothing like doing all the big stuff at once eh :)

As I look back on pre-married life, I’ve gained some valuable insights that are sure to hold me in good stead during my married life.  One which I’m going to share with you today is all about making good solid decisions that will allow you to bring pretty much anything new you want to achieve in your life.

I’m sure you can remember only too well some of the decisions you’ve made in the past that didn’t get past the words being uttered from your mouth.  Then there are the decisions that you actually followed through with true brilliance and your success was a masterpiece.  So how can you turn every potential life changing decision into one that gets you where you want to be in your life?

Here’s some tips to help you on your way:

  1. The strength of your decision is everything. A half hearted “I’m gonna quit smoking & spend more time in the gym”, probably isn’t going to be strong to follow through on.  When you make a decision to enhance your life in any way, the decision needs to come from a place of inner strength, power and commitment.
  2. What’s your reason? This is a really important question to take time to answer. Why is this decision important and what’s your reason for wanting it to stick?  The more reasons you have, the greater the need to achieve.  The greater the need to achieve the more likely you are to stay on track until completion.  As Edison once said ‘‘Many of life’s failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up”
  3. Have a P.O.A. – Plan of Action. If your decision is to reach your ideal weight, you most definitely want to consider a food plan, an exercise regime and most importantly you need to get educated on the subject.  Follow through is the hardest part of your decision, it’s easy to fall at the first hurdle but when you have a plan of action which also takes into consideration what you’ll do when you do fall, it’s easier to get back on your feet and continue to move forward.
  4. Believe you can achieve and you’ll notice opportunities everywhere. That’s right, when you truly believe in yourself and your ability to stand by your decision, you’ll be surprised at what suddenly seems to appear as an open door.  These doors are everywhere, only you’ve mentally closed them because you don’t believe they’re there for you!!
  5. Remember the Law of Attraction is always in Action.  The Law of Attraction has recently become more widely known and understood as a fundamental law of the universe.  In short, you attract the people, the places, the circumstances and the events into your life depending on where you focus your thoughts, feelings and attention.  If you focus on the lack in your life, guess what, you will indeed experience more lack.  If your glass is half full, then your life will be more full.

As the great American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson said “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen”. Everything you need surrounds you, the people, the places, the circumstances and the events – when you make your solid strong decision to get to where you want to be, you open your mind to every possibility and you become receptive to that which will ultimately lead to your success.

What gives you pleasure?

March 18, 2010 by Natasha

I lay in bed a couple of days ago and gave myself a lie in treat and decided to listen to a radio show through my iphone.  The topic was all about ‘what gives you pleasure’.  As I lay there thinking I knew the answer, it became evidently clear that I needed to go deeper into this subject.

Since becoming a Life Change Specialist, I have put my heart and soul into helping people transform their ordinary lives into lives they love.  In return, I get great pleasure from watching my clients step into their unique shoes by discovering their real self.  The self that loves their life.

Loving your job and gaining pleasure from it, is only one aspect of living, there has to be pleasure in other areas too.  And as a solopreneur, you can often get caught up in the running of your business (and everything else that comes with it) and before you realise it, you’ve forgotten what it was like to explore new ways of bringing pleasure into your life.

For the rest of the day, I made it my mission to speak to myself (and yes I did it out loud), asking over and over “what gives me pleasure”.  It was amazing how I started to discover myself all over again and realise that unintentionally, I had let some of the fun slip from my life.

Immediately, I began to do some fun stuff for me.  Singing in the shower, making myself laugh, wearing my best clothes, I even took 2 hours off work to visit a tea shop I had never been to.  By the time I got home, I was so uplifted and even more connected to myself that I made a promise to bring more pleasure into my life.

In that moment, a light bulb went on and I thought, if I have done this, then I know for sure that others will have too.  So my question for you to ponder today, is simply, “what gives you pleasure”.

Free Webinar, I’m attending are you?

October 7, 2009 by Natasha

Lynda Dyer is one of my favourite people to follow because she really knows her stuff and shares it with such passion that you can’t help but feel motivated and inspired by her.  That’s why I’m happy to promote her and her work to my friends, family and followers.

She’s going to be in Brussels for her 2 day seminar, Busting Brain Blocks on 24 & 25 October.  Unfortunately I’m going to be in sunny San Diego (I’m sooo excited, my very first time on American soil), thankfully I’ll be seeing her at the Women Millionaires Bootcamp in London on 30 October (did you grab your free ticket??? NO, checkout my previous post, you may be lucky enough to still pick one up!).

Lynda told me about the free webinars that she’s been giving and the amazing results people are experiencing just by being on the call and doing her limiting beliefs clearing.  I’m so amazed by what she’s told me that I’m jumping right on to her webinar this Thursday (8 October) to check it out for myself.  I’m also amazed that Lynda is actually going to be doing this call at 5am!!! her time in Australia, a time especially for Europe, so we’re not left out……now that’s what I call service and dedication!

Thanks Lynda!!!  Here’s the info for the call!  If you join us on the webinar, I’d love to hear from you!

Remember we become what we believe we are and the easiest way to do that is to surround yourself with the same kind of people that you want to become.  Learn from those that have succeeded and you too will succeed!

Living in harmony with the Law of Attraction

February 21, 2009 by Natasha

Yesterday I used an overflowing coffee mug as an example of why we need to take some to de-stress.  Here is my first suggestion on how you can incorporate this into your life.

Living in harmony with the Law of Attraction (LOA) is the number one stop for anyone who wants to live a life with less stress.

LOA says that we attract into our lives that which we focus our thoughts, energy and attention, whether wanted or unwanted.  This basically means that whatever you have in your life, you have attracted it, this includes your stress levels.

Many people find it hard to believe that they themselves are the real cause of their stress, as opposed to the situations they encounter.  Whatever you choose to believe, I can tell you that it doesn’t matter.  Your life is a product of exactly where you focus your thoughts, energy and attention, so these need to change for you to experience a calmer environment.

To help you out, here are the 3 steps you need to follow to attract more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

1) To get what you want in life you have to be clear about what it is you want.  If you don’t know what you want then how can you have it?  Be as specific as you can, this means taking the time to really think about what you want.  I suggest you take a look at all things stressful in your life and decide what you would like to replace it with instead.

2) Now you need to focus your attention on what you want .  LOA says that we attract into our lives that which we focus on, if that’s the case then you definitely need to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want.  This should be easy if you’ve done step 1.

3) This is the most difficult part even for avid LOA practicers.  This is where you hear people say ‘Law of Attraction doesn’t work for me’ and they fall back into their old ways.  If you want to enjoy more relaxation (in fact whatever you want more of), don’t give up here!  This is where you have to allow your want to come to you.  Allowing is where you let go of doubt and believe you can have what you want.  Do you know anybody who had what they wanted without believing they could have it?

I hope you’ve enjoyed the read and come back tomorrow for another suggestion on how you can keep your coffee mug half full!

If you found this interesting and would like to learn more about LOA and how you can deliberately create your life, take a look at my new Fast Track Law of Attraction telephone series.  In just 3 hours you can be attracting a calmer and more relaxed you!
